I know it doesn't necessarily help you...but...I can confirm based on 3 weeks of being on it, that Marshmallow fixes this issue.

ARGH! So here I was thinking that after 4 days it NOT happening that turning smart lock off was the answer...BUT....its NOT. It happened again yesterday. Maybe...just MAYBE...the Marshmallow build for my ATT device fixes this. Word on the street is that THAT will happen 7/18.

Thanks for this thread. Went to check for updates, and sure enough...the June security patch is there (206MB). I have to agree...AT&T has taken their time, but IMO, the builds for this phone have been solid and bug free. Posted via the Android Central App

Has anyone here on AC with a GS5 already on Marshmallow tried sideloading Good Lock? I'm curious if any have tried and if its functioning correctly. About the only limitation I've read about is that GS5 devices cannot use the fingerprint scanner to unlock. Any feedback is appreciated.

I don't have a GS7E, but it seems the last few pages of this thread seem to be chasing down high Android System usage. Have you all disabled S-Health, S-Voice and turned off VOLTE? All are contributors.
