Ugh...this is so true. This trend of refreshes 5-7 months in have really given me pause that I might jump ship and go back to Apple when the new one is released at the end of this year. At least with Apple, I know my device won't be one-upped by the same company after 6 months in.

Exactly. If this phone checks all the marks for someone, then that is great, you found a phone for you. And really that is all that matters. Either I have fantastic eyesight or you have worse, but when I had a 3T, I used it against the Axon 7, and I absolutely could see the difference.

I want to just interject real quick and say that I too agree that the placement of fingerprint reader is fine and not an issue. And the software is fine too. Oxygen is my favorite take of an enhanced stock android UI. It's really good.

I agree with you op, I lean towards being slightly critical. Someone said that OnePlus went from being a flagship killer to now just a flagship. And really, a welfare flagship at that. I really liked this phone at $400 doing what it did. Now at over $500, it needs to step up that screen or add...

The problem with the old panels was the pentile screens right? Is it confirmed it's using this same type of panel?

This happens to me plenty. I am using an international version, I wonder if that is why? I never had this problem before.

This is why we use WhatsApp in my family. Android and iPhones users can all be happy with WhatsApp.

Haha, well I should clarify that my SE is the one that get's referenced as a child's phone. The S7 no. :)

I've been told that I should stop using a "child's phone" lol. But I use an SE and a S7 and enjoy both. And yes, accidents happen. But 99% of the time, accidents are the result of being careless.

It's an inconvenience since its one less thing you need to keep charged. You also don't have to worry about weird cut outs that sometimes happen with wireless audio (probably from interference with all the other billion of waves out there). And it doesn't hurt to not have it there ready to go...

Well sometimes bigger isn't ALWAYS better.
