    The VLC beta is coming a long way and getting much better - so keep an eye on that. But yeah, MX Player is the best bet at the moment.

    Was your Nexus 7 defective or in Perfect condition?

    I bought my first Nexus 7 that was a 16GB, bought from Google Play Store. Had the screen lift issue. Bought my second after a 2 month wait (Australia is so backwater, took that long for them to refund it), got it Friday - no issue as yet.
