I haven't downloaded anything outside of the Google play store nor have I gotten any popups. Thanks for your help. I will try your suggestions.

Can anyone tell me what this app is? It appeared at the top of my system apps list as --- version 0.8 on my Kyocera Hydro Shore running lollipop. I have never seen it before and my husband's phone(exact same) doesn't have it. There doesn't seem to be an option to disable or force stop it.
