I personally don't care about functional notch on phones but I guess it would look nice if it's 'not' there. I prefer samsung way due to symmetry.

Cons; Might be that you would have to give a small call with service provider, when ever you change your phone.

I guess It should be fine for Normal usage, unless you want keep lots of App or Large Application on the memory to continue where you left or quicker launch time.

May be we are not going to be using headphones while charging as often than we think. I think the dongle should suffice. well, that is if we are carrying one with our headphones always I guess.
