    Nothing to do with time zones. The time is lagging behind by 2 to 15 minutes.

    I have a funny feeling it has something to do with the app optimization feature which landed after our last updates. Maybe the night clock is being put into sleep mode or something? Hoping an update would soon fix this issue.

    I am happy to report after 72 hours that I have had not a single freezing issue.

    I followed the advice from Michi and disabled my Smart Stay. It's been 24 hours and no freezing issue - when it normally would occur 3 to 5 times a day. I'll post another update a few days from now.

    Great Phone, Bad Device!

    If your non-responsive issue has anything to do with the time when you try to wake your phone from screen off mode, then this is a known software issue. Some folks claim that after the last update, the issue was fixed. Others like me, still have had no luck and are awaiting the next software patch.

    Is this regular behavior? I have factory resetted atleast 6 or 7 different Samsung phones and the next owner has never complained of not being able to register his account.

    Does anyone else have the problem I've been having? My night clock is usually several minutes behind the actual time on my device. When I turn the screen on and back off again, the time on the night clock 'refreshes' back to the correct time. Until the next time I notice it - and it is lagging...
