6a is a great size for me, coming from a Galaxy S22. It's actually a bit bigger than the S22, so I will have to get used to it I guess when it comes in.

When I'm connected to Bluetooth in my car the Google Assistant doesn't hear anything I say. Even Hey Google doesn't work. How do I bypass Bluetooth and get it to use the phone mic for input?

S22 on Verizon. I'm sitting here just watching TV, and the google assistant kicks on. Happens randomly throughout the day, maybe as much as 3-4 times per week. No one is saying Ok Google or anything close, and it's happening when it's not even me talking. Anyone else experiencing this?

It's already set to 5Ghz so I don't think that's the issue.

Oh, gotcha. I do have many personal devices without VPN and they all seem to function just fine. Maybe it is the VPN service?

The first two you mention are already off in wifi advanced settings. I did turn off throttling in dev options, so we'll see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestions.

Hmmm, not sure I understand. There is my work laptop on the same wifi network also connected to work VPN, but that's a different client than the one on my phone.

Nope, company forces it to run 24/7. If I disconnect from VPN, I'll have to submit a ticket to my IT to reconnect. It's a super PITA.

Nah, companies frequently sell under the old brand for a long time. HP still sold Compaq laptops up until just a few years ago, and Compaq hasn't been a thing for a looooong time. I think Dell sold Gateway branded machines up until 2015, and of course, Gateway has been gone for maybe 15 years...

I don't think it's possible as there is no option to clear the default browser. Only the option to select which one to be the default.

Sorry, I mean work better than with other screen protectors. My glass protector basically makes the FPR unusable and I'm trying to find a glass one that actually permits the FPR to work.

What is unique about the White Stone that allows the FPR to work better? I have the standard S22 and the screen is flat, and a dome screen protector is not necessary - unless it does actually affect the FPR performance.
