Your best bet would be to try a Wilson Booster. It will require an antennae outside the building.

OK maybe it's just me but I'm convinced the Maxx is easier to break then others. My droid X2 was impossible to break but I have cracked screens on 3 maxx's in a year or so? Is it just me? BTW where should I have this fixed?

8.9 is better than ever with ICS. Had mine a year+ and its great. I mostly use it to surf and read. Also used occasionally at work when I dont need the laptop for a while.

The outer glass is good. The inner is broken.

Also for other owners there is a post/ review on xda that explains how to root and install set CPU. That does make a large difference in speed. Much improved.

I have some experience with the Fascinate. The Fascinate's screen is nicer, it has better colors and seems brighter. So I would say your DX is normal. Alarm I don't know what to tell you, I have only used mine a couple times but it seems plenty loud. Maybe try a different "ringtone"?

Re: Contacts not designed for business use. The Blackberry just does this matter. It also handles the profiles and alerts better IMO. You win some you lose some. That said, you couldn't pay to carry a Blackberry.

My DX worked fine on Froyo and works fine on GB. It's actually a little nicer since you can set your out of office calendar from the phone now. We run Exchange 2007 SP3 RU2.

It works pretty well. I don't know about any txt play by play but it will show you play by play on the screen if you keep the app open. The consolidated games are pretty good to watch I ponied up for the $30 subscription.
