I trained mine as it says with "OK Google Now" but when I say it it always wanted to add "now" before anything I asked so now I just say "OK Google" and leave off the "now" and it works great.

Probably negligible battery drain but yes. When you hit the BACK button on Android you are in a sense saying "I'm done with this app, you can free up its resources" ... when you hit the HOME button Android "suspends" the app just as you left it, still using resources.

+1 You learn this if you do Android development. If you want to "exit" an app completely (in most cases, unless a service is running), hit the BACK button. Only hit HOME button if you want to in a sense "suspend" the app so you can go back to it just how you left it.

No, you don't have to wake it up that's the point. It's like having a notification light that gives you more information. It uses a lot less power. Active Notifications is one of those features that now that I'm using it I don't ever want a phone again without it.

What is so friggin difficult to understand? 1) Scrolling wallpapers is a BASIC, FUNDAMENTAL feature of the Android O/S, it should not be removed. 2) People purchased live wallpapers that they now cannot use. 3) It's not a patent issue because AFAIK the iPhone does not have scrolling...

Because Samsung is taking away a basic Android feature? lol of course I'd switch, they are plenty of other phones
