I got the 58U OTA today but it would not install, I think because I am unlocked, so I side loaded it from Google. Can't see any difference yet.

You do not have to wipe your device to update, you do however have to unlock the device if you have not already done so. Unlocking will totally wipe your device. You will have to reinstall the apps, however your settings should be backed up to Google servers if you have allowed it in settings.

Looks like maybe there is no modified boot image available for this device yet. I guess I will wait and see. I have tried all I know and some I didn't know.

Has anybody else had issues with rooting the N7 running on MRA58K using Wugfresh NRT? Mine goes all the way through to the Teamwin Recovery, then when it tells me to browse to the Beta SU and install it, the files do not show. I know the files are there as I can see them in explorer. Something...

Our N4 works just fine. We have however had issues with 3rd party apps. Check out the 4.4.4 update. I suspect this might clear up a bunch of issues for you.

Nexus Toolkit will unroot your N5 just fine. I have done mine and re-rooted with no issues at all.

I updated OTA from .3 to .4 no problem at all. Lost root so I had to re-root it but no hassles.
