Sorry guys, it's what the guy in the store showed me at the verizon store. he assured me it had the contact charging and plugs in the base. Perhaps he was lying to get the sale?

That's definitely not the same mount as shown in the video though...

Definitely try taking it back if you can. Mine was even unlocked and they didn't give me crap about it.

The one Verizon has pictured on their site definitely shows the version that has the contact charging. I ordered one from them, so we'll see if the one I get is different.

Looks like a defect to me. I'm having this other issue, myself. Are you seeing that?

I have some vertical lines as well. They're all very distinct, especially when browsing the market with its gray background. So looking at this link, I'm definitely going to go to the store today and see if they can exchange it. Hopefully they aren't sold out...

So like most of us, I just got the galaxy nexus today and I'm very happy with it. But I do have one concern. When my phone is on a lower brightness setting on a white background, I can see all sorts of funky horizontal lines across it. It almost looks like something is burned into the screen...
