    Anyone getting a Moto Z?

That would mean I'm done buying those phones. Even if I don't root, I'm not paying money for something I *can't* modify if I wanted to.

    Anyone getting a Moto Z?

I really want it, but I'm not so sure I'm willing to wait until Fall to buy it, since I'm on T-Mo. If I could buy it next month I definitely would. Now I'm not so sure. I'll probably go with the next Samsung Note if it's not junk, and it's rootable. Man, I really don't know. Every one of the...

Call and Browse Web Simultanious App

this is what I was trying to say. Verizon non-lte has the same issue, ATT even put it in their iPhone commercial. It's not the phone It's the way the network works.

Call and Browse Web Simultanious App

From my understanding no. This is a hardware limitation not a software one. Hardware being on the carrier's side, not the phone.

If You Knew Then What You Know Now,Would You Still Buy The EVO3D?

Re: If You Knew Then What You Know Now,Would You Still Buy The EV Nope. I didn't realize how difficult getting an AOSP ROM on this thing would be, and thats all I REALLY want. I switched from the SGS2ET to this due to CM7 "being ready any moment now", and have been consistently disappointed by...

Not a dev myself, but I too am done with xda. I have even deleted the bookmark. Seems like the vast majority over there is under 20... or possibly even under 16.

    Anyone running an ICS ROM?

I ran kush's for a couple days and really enjoyed it (along with chrome browser! ), however I had an issue with it shutting off overnight while on the charger. Since I use my phone as my alarm clock, it shutting off or freezing at night is a major problem for me. I will continue to follow his...

    CM7 and Tiamat Kernel

Eh, I don't care about the benchmarks. It made a huge difference for me in battery life and, most importantly, CALL AND SPEAKERPHONE VOLUME!! Honestly just getting rid of the stock ROM made the phone MORE than fast enough.. I never really oc'd it.

    Verizon keeps pushing OTA update...

So, stupid question? I have mine rooted/s-off and have CWM installed. If I go back to stock 2.2.x and accept the GB update it'll relock the bootloader so I can't go back to CWM and play with it? I ask as I am trying to sell my phone, so I put it back to stock, but I'd like to stay rooted and...

    Cyanogenmod for Incredible 2.

Have been running CM7 since a few days after I got the phone. It's an incredible ROM. The 8x versions of the nightlies gave me a lot of issues, I have since reverted back to 55 and all is well. Make sure you flash the Tiamat kernel to fix the low call volume issue.

    CM7 and Tiamat Kernel

Yes you have to reflash the kernal every time you flash a new nightly CM7. Flashing a new nightly will install their own kernel. I have run Tiamat 1.1.?, 1.1.2, and am on 1.1.3 now. Makes a huge difference.

For Anyone Considering the Charge Over the Bionic

I recently gave up waiting. I made it to the 29th with my Incredible 2. On the 30th I s-off'd , and ROM'd it, so now I'm stuck with it. (my 14 days were up on 8/1 ) But I'm happy with it, and it actually exists! So, I'm done waiting. Not even on my radar anymore. I'll now wait for the second...

New to DInc2 - Want to root and Flash

If the update starts downloading (mine didn't give me the option, it just started on its own ) turn off the phone. I had to catch it 3 times before it finally gave up. No other way to cancel it other than powering off. edit: the OTA GB update, I mean. Don't EVER power cycle during something...

    CM7 nightly builds?

Battery life seems awesome too. 78%, after 15 hours unplugged. Minimal usage as I was actually working today, but still pretty impressive.
