    Verizon sells the charms for $20, though I did test it out on the Thunderbolt and it didn't work.

    You are correct the Rhyme does not have a removable battery. I am not sure why, but so far the battery life is far superior to the Droid X I was using.

    I just joined and thought I would introduce myself. My first android phone was a Droid X which I picked up on the release date, after the update issues I decided to go for something new and just picked up the htc Rhyme. I also have a nook color with Nook2Android. Misty

    There is a specific setting on the Rhyme for charm notifications. I did try it on the thunderbolt to see if it would work and it didn't.

    Text message when a voice mail is left

    It is probably a demo of the visual voicemail feature, unless she subscribed to that. If you go into options for visual voicemail there is no option for turning text notifications off that I have found.
