This is not true. A co-worker opted for the standard shipping and got just that, standard shipping. We both preordered the Note 7 the same day from the same computer. He assumed too that it woulent make a difference. It did.

The camera most likely. I’ve got a bunch of IKEA wireless chargers installed in my place. And I have the unused 256 card from last years Note 7 gift.

I got my note 7 5 days early.

Samsung fixed that problem after the Note 7 I thought. I was affected by that with the Note 7 but didn’t have the problem when I went with the S8+.

Re: Playing w/Note 8 at Verizon Now... Go to Best Buy. I went in yesterday and held one in hand without an annoying tether. The Samsung rep had one that he was demoing. Got about 5 minutes with it. It’s very nice. Felt better in hand than the s8+. And it’s so nice to have the pen back. Love...

I’m an “educated phone lover” (lol) and I as well as plenty others find that the small differences are worth it. They talked a lot about it yesterday and that’s the Note power users who are die hard fans of the pen. That’s enough for this “educated phone lover”.

There’s a Reddit AMA from a US carrier employee who is saying he had hands on with a midnight blue Note 8. He seems like he’s legit. Wouldn’t say what carrier.

My Best Buy had the Note 7 the very next day after the unveiling. Hoping for the same this year so I can go and try it out.
