    [ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

I'm using the kernel from June 15. P.S. I'm on the old baseband with the baseband fix applied.

    [ROM][CM9][ICS][4.0.4] Cyanogenmod 9, Android ICS 4.0.4

Installed the latest release and I must say it's great to finally have a fully functional ICS rom. Here's a minor bug I found. After a while (typically overnight) my phone loses its wifi connection. My network's status is listed as "disabled" and while tapping it offers the usual...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

And just like that, this is wonderful news! Perhaps the stock kernel just needs a few modifications? (unless the kernel is integrated too deeply into the ROM) Actually, if that's all that's wrong with it the only thing I can't live with is the keyboard. Airdroid can replace USB storage, and a...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

I'm going to buy a Sony Xperia phone, likely the Japanese GX when it goes international, but I'm actually quite satisfied that this phone has gotten as far as running ICS, albeit without camera previews. I'll probably set it up on GB before I give it away, but from my perspective the lesson to...

I also wouldn't trust any of his claims, given his situation.

LG Thrive: Charged overnight, woke to Emergency Mode

If it's still under warranty, take it to one of the Device Support Centers. They'll take a look, try the button combinations, give up and replace your phone. You might get a silver P505 phoenix instead of a Thrive.

If anyone tries that new ICS 4.0.4 Rom with the camera preview fixed, by using Raenye's kernel, could you please report back the results?

    No more p506's being made(?)

I recently bricked my Thrive and couldn't get KDZ Updater to work no matter what I tried, so I took it to one of AT&T's Device Support Centers. As it turned out, the technicians there had never even seen Emergency Mode before, so they gave me a replacement Thrive - or so I thought. It's looks...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

Are you stuck in emergency mode or does flashing the baseband just not work? I'm in the former situation but the solution for both might be the same. Try the following: -Disable the LG Modem in the Device Manager, restart your pc if prompted -Use the rear USB port on your pc instead of the front...

    .35 Gingerbread/ICS Kernal

I'm using it for my Thrive, old baseband, cosmicexperia rom, and probably will only switch for an overclockable .35 kernel or a compelling enough ICS rom (or ideally, both).

I don't use data (GASP!) so is it still not yet possible to use a .35 rom with working wifi and overclocking on a Thrive?

    Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed**

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed This is almost too late to be useful, but I remedied the black screen issue on my phone by turning the screen-on animation ON in Cyanogen (or in this case, CosmicExperia) settings. It used to take an interaction with something on...

    Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed**

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed Regarding 2. Temporarily set the CPU governor to interactivex. This usually reverts the screen for me. I think the offset screen is tied to the cpu changing its speed. It never occurs if the governor is set to Performance...

    Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed**

Re: Joban's Kernel 2.08 (Overclock, CM7 2.3.7 etc..) **Gyro Fixed I'm trying to pair my phone with my laptop to use it as a media remote (mainly to use when my laptop is connected to a larger display). It worked with the stock kernel + rom. However, in my attempts to get it working using...
