New all Black BlackBerry KeyOne on the Way

I ordered mine yesterday as well. My 3/32 KeyONE is great, but it's a bit slow with Android Auto, and I have occasional lags as it unloads/reloads apps into RAM. Also, I have a Build date of May (bought it day 1 on Amazon) so the screen release is just a matter of time...

    Android System Battery Drain Absurd!

If you have idle drain of less than 2% per hour, then there is no real issue to address. Wifi or lte depends on the relative signal strength. If you have good signal on both, then wifi on or off should have similar results. You'll see android system pop near the top when you're getting a lot of...

Will the US Unlocked HTC 10 model work on Verizon?

It also lists support for CDMA EvDo Rev A, 850 and 1900, which are used by vzw and Sprint. It also supports LTE bands 25, 26, and 41, which Sprint uses. It also has a cat9 modem, which is what's required for the 3CA LTE plus that Sprint uses. This is not a hardware issue...totally about...

Will the US Unlocked HTC 10 model work on Verizon?

Eh? The bands line up perfectly. Has the CDMA bands, as well as LTE bands 4 and 13. Clearly it will work. You may not be able to activate a new line on it, but if you take a pre activated vzw Sim and drop it in, it will work fine. Might even get wifi calling and VoLTE... Posted via the Android...

HTC finally got the camera right (Ties S7's on DxOMark)

Re: Camera Ties S7's for DxOMark Interesting. I liked David Ruddock's discussion of the B&O DAC...but I'm not an audiophile. What did he get wrong?

HTC finally got the camera right (Ties S7's on DxOMark)

Re: Camera Ties S7's for DxOMark Much as I want to believe that (and I have pre-ordered an HTC 10), I'm not putting much stock in DxO...fairly persuasive article from Android Police. Phil and company, what say you? Maybe It's Time To Stop Letting DxOMark Decide Whose Smartphone Camera Is...

    Mulling between 16 and 64GB

You have to move each app individually. By the way, some apps ( t Mobile Voicemail, Google fit, wunderlist) don't work correctly (or at all) on the SD card, so you do have to watch for misbehaving apps. If you have enough internal storage on your S5, I would go back to traditional portable...

    Mulling between 16 and 64GB

Another update. Phone is functioning fine, still no issues with slowdowns or freezes. One small but annoying issue has cropped up, discussed here: http://android.stackexchange.com/questions/138720/android-marshmallow-keeps-moving-apps-to-internal-storage-after-update Basically, based on a...

    Mulling between 16 and 64GB

So far so good. I did migrate a bunch of apps manually to the SD card (I restored the accounts from another phone). Currently, only the OS and a bunch of core apps are on the internal drive, leaving about 5gb free. All media storage was automatically put on the SD. No obvious slowdowns, even 4k...

    Mulling between 16 and 64GB

I just bought my wife a 16GB MXPE along with a 64GB Sandisk UHS-3 card, I set it up with adoptable storage. I haven't told her that there's a different between this and her previous Moto X 32GB (2014). I installed all 123 of her apps, and restored all 30,000 of her text messages, and let...
