Actually this might still be an issue if you use bitlocker. If I touch the notification before unlocking with my pin it doesn't open the app after the phone unlocks. This worked on my GS7. I'd tap the notification, enter my pin and then it would take me to the app I'd selected after the screen...

Now that you said that I tried tapping more gently and now it works. I'm a moron. At least I know that thick screen protector won't affect responsiveness once it gets here

Nope I'm single tapping. It just brings me to the home page and I have to manually open the app.

Whenever I tap a notification it doesn't open the app. It just brings me to the home screen. This applies to all the apps I have installed. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a setting I'm missing?

If I click on a notification it doesn't bring me to that particular notification. In fact it does t even open the app.
