I've observed the same behavior from my turbo. If I remember correctly one of the ota updates stated that they "fixed the brightness issue". I think after getting complaints of the screen being hard to see outside, Motorola set up the screen to go into brightness overdrive in direct sunlight...

Its not that its bad battery life in general, but its pretty bad considering some phones are getting equal or even better screen on time with much smaller batteries, running bloated skins, etc... Posted via the Android Central App

It does have a magnetometer, its just not located near the upper corner of the phone. If you move a magnet in the same fashion as the cardboard, but underneath the camera near the moto logo it'll work. Still not as easy as using a Bluetooth controller IMO. Posted via the Android Central App

Do you guys know of an equalizer that'll work with google play music? I tried using the turbo's built in equalizer, but it doesn't allow for custom band manipulation, and other equalizers don't seem to work with google play. Posted via the Android Central App
