    Which phones support 5GHz Wi-Fi?

For an internal project I need to source a couple of Android phones that support 5GHz Wi-Fi. I searched Google and hardware reviews and have a small list but not sure if it's all of them. - Galaxy Nexus - Galaxy S3 - HTC One X? - HTC One S? - HTC EVO 3G? any others? Off the shelf - U.S...

Picked up an HTC One X today....adios iPhone 4S

Did any of you use iCloud for the calendar and address book? If so, how did you get it all moved over to Google? I want to keep things in sync between the phones, macbook and iPad.

Anyone NOT happy with their choice?

My feelings exactly. I had the Nexus 1 and loved it but I got tired of bridging services between Apple and Google (Spanning Sync for Gmail / MobileMe, Doubletwist vs .iTunes, etc) I know the right answer is to drop out of the Apple ecosystem altogether but I don't feel there is a 1:1 match of...

The stalk is dropping something off tomorrow...

Welcome! I think you are going to like it. I had a TMO version and now AT&T. Its a great phone. Google Shopper, My Tracks, Maps, SkyMap, Navigation and Gesture Search, DropBox, WiFi Analyzer, Pandora, Boxee Remote, 3bananas are my favorites. I don't use any task killer. I also rooted and...

    about nexus one

You can boot into recovery mode and wipe it from there (or do the reset on the regular OS) either way you wont lose root or the flashed ROM. I can't believe the seller didn't do that but no biggie. Also once you get in the market, there are a couple of ROM update apps that do everything for you.

    Have you rooted your N1?

I rooted and on Cyanogen 5.06. Its a better device and kind of a preview of some things that may be in 2.2. Rooting isn't difficult and I would do it again and again. My N1 was just out of the 14 days when I did it.

    *Facepalm*

I think the N1 looks better and is more unique. You won't see everyone carrying one. The noise cancellation and design of the N1 are what I like. ROMs will be available on either device soon enough after 2.2.
