    You bet. Just go to your contacts list. Select a contact, scroll to the bottom and in the "Options" section it will say "ringtone - default" click that and it will let you set a unique one.

    I'll just chime in with my 2cents also: The bag of rice trick works almost every time. But if time is of the essence you can put the phone in the bag of rice, and then also sit a hair dryer on *low setting next to the bag and just let it run for a day. The added heat will excite the water...

    Thanks for the link over to that thread. This kind of sucks. I'm going to talk to the maker of the current ROM I'm using, as he has provided launcher pro as the default launcher, and I assume doesn't realize this is a problem with LP and sense dialer.

    Yes. I just tried it with sense launcher, and it seems to be working... So, why would it work for the sense launcher and not launcher pro? It's an entirely separate program that is being "launched"?

    Yes, it is actually completely separate from a ROM flash. The splash screen will always stay however you have it set no matter what rom you flash. You will be using the bootloader to flash the splash screen. It is something that the recovery can't flash *to my knowledge anyways*
