I live in the middle east and we don't have warranty on our products unfortunately. Could you recommend any other means of approaching this dilemma? Would changing the detector fix this, or is there a software alternative to look into by any chance? Thank you for your help.

No I haven't I was worried I might do something unnecessary that I might not be able to restore that's why I was wondering if anyone knew if those screws do the job or not

Would the only way to access it be by dismantling the entire phone or would those two screws get me to the button itself and no need to remove anything else? If I found something broken I'd take it to a repair shop as in Lebanon warranty only covers screen damage not minor inconveniences
