    I have the exact same issue. Surprised more people are not seeing this.. Focus only works when I place my finger up close to the lens and then move my finger away. Thought it could be a software issue.

    I use one and have had no problems, as long as the metalplate does not slide upwards you should be fine.

    I have similar issue but Battery pull and forget network has not worked. It is the same on other wifi networks. I am also on 4.4.2 with the EE network. I think this is a operating system issue.
