[Closed] Win a Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X in our Fa-la-la-liday Contest!

I would choose the 6P because I switched from the Moto X 2nd Gen to the MXPE and really enjoy the size despite thinking I wouldn't. Using smaller phones has now become awkward. Go figure.

Quick Capture on my X not working properly?!!!

I'm having the same issue. I didn't notice it until last night. A reboot fixed it and it's been working since.

After the Moto X (2014) reveal, are you excited?

Re: After the reveal, are you excited? I'm excited for it. The battery stats are important, clearly, but since I'm at work most of the day, I'm more worried about standby than anything else. I really want to see what else they plan on doing with the IR sensors throughout the life of the phone.

Moto X after one year - my thoughts

Every year I tend to buy the new Galaxy S and then another random phone from someone else that I feel is better. Bought the Moto X and didn't buy the S5. I just felt like it's feature set was irreplaceable.

    Buying S3 In Mid 2014?

If your budget is 300 bucks, an iPhone 5 is going to be way out of your price range; brand new anyway it costs around 550. The X's camera isn't anything to write home about. I can get some good pictures out of it but I've also been using it since September and I'm not afraid to edit the...

Android OS using large percentage of battery on Galaxy S5

My Moto X used to do this pretty bad. I had read somewhere that when you want to take the phone off the charger, turn the phone off, let it boot to battery charging/charged screen, and then unplug it and turn it back on. I know it isn't the same phone, but it might be a KitKat bug. It helped me.

    Buying S3 In Mid 2014?

I had an S3 and S4; currently have the Moto X. It has a little more than 11GB of usable storage out the box for the 16GB version. So that should be able to hold you over. And if you are into the cloud there's the 50GB of Google Drive and always Google Music to stream music from. The Moto X...

Sprint m8 data connection issue, solutions?

Sprint was updating their towers around my place last year and I couldn't send or receive text, and could barely make phone calls. But as soon as I made it to a different cell tower, poof, everything people sent came through. I'd say call and check; I got a pretty nice discount for the month...

Google play music transferred over 38GB background data over wifi in less then a month

I've never had this happen to me so I'm just guessing. Maybe you have automatically cache turned on and it's being over active?

help me! my gf tried to unlock my phone!

You could try Android Device Manager from the web. It will let you change your lock code and then you should be able to unlock it. Only obstacle is whether or not it's turned on. Couldn't hurt to try though.

    Moto Assist and group messages

That's happened to me too. I just thought because group messages were technically multimedia messages it didn't interpret it as anything to read. Posted via Android Central App

    Two issues

I experienced issue number two but it was because I switched to art. Like it literally happened when I switched to art and I switched back to dalvik and it hasn't happened since. I've always seen the text equivalent of the smileys but I also haven't used the stock messaging app since I had the...

Do You Use More Data with your Moto X than your Previous Phone?

I use more data, but not because it's faster, but because it holds on to a signal better. I have Sprint, which isn't that bad in the Chicagoland area. When I had the S3/S4 it struggled to hold on to a cellular signal. The X has absolutely no problem, making it more of a joy to use.
