I'm having this same issue but with my Outlook.com email address in the Gmail app. I've had it since Preview 1, and it even happened once or twice while I was on Lollipop 5.1.1. Very frustrating. The only solution is to pull email through another app, like Outlook.

Installed M Preview 2 on my Nexus 5 this morning -- was running the original M preview (1). Here are some things that I'm noticing: 1) (Obviously) Google Now Launcher app drawer is now 4 apps wide (was 3), removed the letter categories on the left-hand side, and utilizes the Google search bar...

Went to sleep with my Nexus 5 at 74%, woke up 8 hours later and it was at 67%. Radios on were: LTE, WiFi, GPS. Battery Saver mode was not on. Do Not Disturb mode was set to "Alarms Only." This is a HUGE improvement from Lollipop 5.1.1! Normally I would have woken up to my phone having battery...

The front facing camera doesn't work. Rear facing does.

Is there any way to disable this? I use Home Button Launcher and now it won't work because of Now on Tap. Can't figure out how to disable it -- any suggestions?
