I apparently won't be getting one because I returned my original pre-order because it was defective. I have a replacement but since that was not ordered until after the pre order period they will not honor the offer. Needless to say I'm not happy and have complained.

So I just got mine this morning. There is a slight blue shift at angles I would never use the phone at. I did notice holding it up with my iPhone 7 Plus that the iPhone screen shifted at the same angles as the Pixel... the difference, the Pixel shifts blue, the iPhone shifts to a gray/dim...

Ordered on Oct 5th (128GB XL2 All Black), was supposed to ship yesterday and did not. I called in the evening and they said they were still filling pre-orders from the 4th due to demand, but mine would likely ship out on the 25th. Looked at my bank and indeed my card was charged this morning...

Nope, counting down the days until I get mine. Time to move on from my iPhone, and after two frustrating days with Touch Wiz on a Note 8 I’m ready for stock Android and that camera.

Hard to tell. The only thing that makes me think he’s got the brightness boosted is the background since the white in that image is completely blown out.

That’s image retention. If he turns the device off for 2-5 minutes it will go away. Should be an easy software fix, just allow the bottom dock to disappear when screen stays static for a period of time.

So color accuracy is of no importance to you?

A little odd that people are complaining about sRGB and colors looking washed out when one of the biggest selling points on the phone is the camera. As someone who takes a ton pictures with my phone's camera, and does quite a bit of editing on the fly, I'm far more interested in color accuracy...

I'll probably stick with Stock for now as one of the main selling points for me was being able to run pure Android out of the box. However, being fairly vested in the Microsoft ecosystem I may try the Microsoft Launcher at some point.
