Have you tried to use SMS Backup and Restore by SyncTech?

After more than 6 months with this phone, I can say I've never had a phone with more problems. All of the problems can be traced to Google updates - the most annoying is the loss of paired Bluetooth devices and the GPS signal lost. It's so bad I stopped updating any of the Google services...

Check my post on the other thread. I found the sim will insert too far on the G3 we have causing no sim card reads.

FWIW both of my phones were running Android messenger. Quick fix is to turn on airplane mode, restart your phone and turn off airplane mode. Missing texts arrive within a minute. SMS messaging is supposedly not a guaranteed messaging service. I come from VZW and BlackBerry so don't know...

It normally bounces between -84 and -107. Haven't noticed any issues with the 4G LTE at any of those times.

Battery may be too far depleted for the phone to recognize it. Had that issue last week with a phone that was sitting around all weekend. There are videos on how to jump start phone batteries with another battery.

I personally don't see the benefits of 7.0, just rounded icons. This build seems stable now, as long as you don't update Google apps.

Stopped updating the phone and haven't had a Bluetooth issue since.

The VZW ones are in red and white VZW packaging, the unlocked ones are in mint green Motorola packaging. Pretty sure the 1609s dont have the GSM bands
