I got the phone from Google store. I got the VZW apps installed after I finished the setup with VZW SIM in there.. they can be uninstalled.

so Best Buy let you buy it without activate on VZW? wow..

I deal with logistics stuff every day. It all goes to "Cost" when we are dealing with logistics. For best cost effective way is to move everything to one location at one time. It totally makes sense for them to ship the items to somewhere in the middle of the states.

I used Samsung Fast Charger for my 6P, it charged quicker than normal USB charger. I don't think it's as faster as regular 6P charger though..

Google store charged my card last night and now it's showing processing... Ordered Pixel 32GB on Oct 7. It seems the silver ones are shipping later than the black ones.

I heard S9 will explode too. O:-)

How does Pixel feel to hold on hand? I hope it's not as slippery as my N6P.

All depends on how Google price it out.

I haven't put any ROM on my devices since GNex, but it doesn't mean I won't do it later. I like to have freedom of doing what I wanted to do with my "paid" device whenever.

i don't think there is one time I worried about my N6P to explode due to USB-C fast charging. It has a lot to do with Samsung's battery vendor and how the hardware designed.

I'm wondering if Google Assistant will able to speak other languages.

known issue... we don't know if the battery will explode or not..
