I live across from Stanford University and the TMO tower is between my apartment window and the football stadium. Maybe the signal is pointed more toward the Stanford campus and not toward Palo Alto. Not knowing anything about cell tower signals ... and the tower only 5 minutes away ... maybe...

Overheating is most noticeable when playing a lot of music videos or on an hour-long conference call. This is when I handle the handset most often. Sometimes with wi-fi on ... sometimes with 4G on. As far as the TMO signal, there is supposed to be a cell phone tower less than 1000 feet away...

Most of the negative issues still remain for me after Android 5.1 update. Nighttime pictures are still lousy. Overheating for my HTC remains an issue since it died 3 times since 5.1 update. Still have issues with calls dropping, which may be a T-Mobile issue ... I don't know how to troubleshoot...

I was watching/downloading videos with headphone ... I heard something pop ... the download app froze ... then the whole M9 froze ... then it lost all power! The battery was charged (75%) but nothing I did would make my M9 power back on. T-Mobile website SAFE MODE instructions did not help...

I know how transfer files from Windows 7 laptop to HTC via MTP. It is really fast, even though where files end up on my HTC can be a mystery. How do I send files from HTC to laptop? I don't see anything MTP-related in SHARE on my HTC and end up using Bluetooth which is very slow. !!! THANKS !!!

Can I change the File Manager default search to "Phone storage + SD card" ??? Android wastes so much of my time just searching "Phone storage" on the first pass, because 99% of my file transfers go to "SD card." Is there a way to set default to both? Some of my MTP file transfers are SO FAST...
