    Google play store issues with connecting

    Google play store is giving me the error message about my data connection and WiFi connection is bad. I have the LG K7 (LGMS330) w/ metro pcs. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this problem. Also my phone rooted can that contribute to this problem im having?
