Reporting back! Got my Pixel 2 XL back this morning. The distortion on the top speaker is fixed. The parts that was replaced is the back cover. Charging well and fast again. I'm happy!

Updating Google Play Services Beta caused heat up during heavy usage like gaming or browsing.

I have the same feeling. Last sideloaded the Jan update ending with a factory reset. The Feb update was OTA and the device feels smoother.
