I Just Want to Thank All of You

This forum seems to be great indeed. I have been following the Chinese smartphone market as a hobby for three years and have reviewed many less-known Chinese brands in my blog. I just recently discovered this forum and I will post my reviews also here in the future. I hope it can help others to...

What will you do to your previous phone?

I usually give them to my kids or relatives. Also, I keep one as a spare if I happen to shatter my primary phone. I never sell them :)

Cheap wireless steaming to tv (youtube, etc..) ... Any advice??

I would also vote for Chromecast. I personally use an Android TV box (Ugoos UT1) and AppleTV but neither one is cheap :).

    Budget Android Smartphones

A great posting, thank you. Three years ago I was fed up with my Samsung Galaxy S and was reluctant to spend $900/700 € on a new phone that probably would be slow, old and shattered after a year so I began searching for an alternative. Knowing nothing about the Chinese brands, I reasoned that...

What Is The Best Lightweight Browser For Android?

I personally use Chrome on my phones, Dolphin on my tablets but I have heard that UC mini is really fast and lightweight.

Which camera app do you use?

Usually the stock camera app works the best but I have also experienced that some times the stock camera app crashes! In that case I have installed ProCapture. If the stock camera app does not support HDR, I have installed HDR Camera+.

The Real Reason Why Micro SD Card Slots Are Disappearing from Smartphones

Exellent points. Why on Earth they still use FAT? Also, I have used micro-SD cards with many devices and sometimes the device has suddenly stopped recognizing the card and a bit later it has recognized it again. But I can't deny it is much cheaper way to expand the memory than to buy a heavily...

    Why do you choose Android?

Re: Why you choose Android? I guess the answer is: because there is no better alternative. I do use Apple products (MacBook Pro, Mac mini, iPad, Apple TV) but for some reason I don't like the iPhone. iOS is very restricted, for example you cannot see the file system, data transfer needs to be...

How often do you replace your phone?

I used my trusted Xiaomi Mi2 for almost three years before buying a LeTV S1. I guess I could have used it even longer because it has 2 GB RAM and a great camera but the screen size (4.3") became rather small. My new phone has 5.5" display + optical image stabilization in camera and I love it!

    Retailer feedback

Re: TechforLess.com: Legit or Scam? I have never heard of an "open box discount". I guess the product has been to a customer that has returned it to the store? Also, I have never heard of techforless and the amount of discount is rather suspicious.

Dual SIM - SIM 2 'Emergency calls only'

I have had the same problem of "data roaming" when I have used a SIM card of an operator that is operating in another operator's network. In other words, they don't have their own network but they "rent" another operator's network in which they operate. "Roaming" means that you use some other...
