Why isn't Nexus 7 (2012) not recognized by Windows 8.1?

re: Windows 8.1 not recognizing Nexus 7 via USB I know you didn't address this to me, but yes, it does show up properly. B. Diddy led me here to your suggestion and I followed it and it worked. Thanks a lot.

Nexus 5 connecting via USB as wrong device

There was no important update for Acer ADB Device. And since I thought it would be more or less the same process I did earlier, I didn't plug the Nexus right back in. Instead, I tried the other guy's suggestion to get the driver from the manufacturer instead of from Windows update (from the link...

Nexus 5 connecting via USB as wrong device

Oh and how do you uninstall these updates, or some of the updates? I never have any control over these updates. Every other week or so, instead of "shut down" I will get a "update and shut down" and there's nothing I can do to prevent it. Help on this would also be appreciated.

More than that... After confirmation that BBM was uninstalled, I downloaded and installed it again from Play Store. After installation completed, I opened BBM and again it asked me to register a new BBM id. I concurred with another email as a username. And just like that BBM was there ready to...

How to uninstall BBM, or at least reset my pin

I had the same problem on my Nexus 5. Already signed-in with my old BBM id, when I realized that I needed to "switch device" to the Nexus and leave my BBM phone useless. What I did was go to Play Store, search BBM, and found that since I already installed BBM on my device, there were two...
