I got through it... couldn't figure out what to do with the cwm file because it has no sd card... I didn't flash a rom I don't have a ton of experience with flashing roms so when it's not my own phone I try not to get too crazy but I got a few devices I can start playing with, hate feeling like...

Try making sure you have the proper drivers installed for your phone and you should be in download mode in order for odin to flash files to it. Hope that helps! Sent from my SCH-I510

Hope I'm not making anyone repeat themselves but there's a lot of stuff on here cuz you guys are awesome :-) needless to say I'm a newbie at rooting I have a very basic idea of what I just did to achieve root....(I had to return to stock because a buddy rooted and after about 3 months things...

So I achieved root...followed some very simple instructions went fast and seems to have worked great. However the rom toolbox I was using before when a friend did my root doesn't seem to be cooperating and either fc's when working with my apps or just hangs there like it's not responding...

Think I'm going to start putting files together tonight to do it :)
