The LG G2, officially as unreliable as the Galaxy Nexus - Touchscreen Dead Spot

I also have a dead zone. It seems to be a band from the sim card slot towards the upper left all the way across the screen. Still under the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Thinking of swapping it out. To me it looks like a pressure problem near the sim slot. It is very uniform and affects a full...

    Sudden Battery Drain

A lot of people's answer to this complaint on other S3 battery threads has been "get an extra battery and keep the phone charging". Which I do actually do now. But there are plenty of times I'm away for a long time with no access to an outlet and charger. And using the battery like it is now...

    Sudden Battery Drain

Same drain problem with 3 GS3's in my house. All three were fine before the update, now all three eat battery like crazy. Things I've tried: reset the cache on each. Turned off Google Latitude, location services, and NFC. Now the phones don't get hot when sitting off and in a pocket. But they...

    Nexus S 4G ICS Bugs

@Android Fanatic How long have you been running ICS? For me it took a day or two before things settled down. Also, most of your problems could be related to a rouge process sucking up the CPU and not allowing the system to sleep. Check your Awake time under battery settings.

Icecream 4.0.4 for Nex 4g S battery issues

Right now I'm playing around with trying to figure out how Android 4 multi-tasking is exactly working along with all the ways to show running apps. Because the multi-task menu isn't the same as the running app menu which is nowhere the same as looking at running processes from a terminal. I'm...

Icecream 4.0.4 for Nex 4g S battery issues

One. Turn off the screen auto brightness. Two. Use multi-task to swipe away any unused applications. Always swipe away any browsers. Three. Always sleep your phone from the home screen and not an application. Run that for a day and see if it helps.

    ICS Bugs after your upgrade?

What battery life are you getting? Need a bit more info to answer that question. :) For me, I get about 14 hours with moderate usage (keeping data, gps, and wifi always on in a building with bad reception).

    [ICS][NS4G]Official Nexus S 4G ICS/Android 4.0.4 Update

Hold power then quickly followed by hitting the up volume. That worked for me.

    ICS Bugs after your upgrade?

Settings -> Accounts and Sync -> [choose your account] -> [hit the menu button and stop sync] Eventually it will need to fully sync. I'm just waiting it out for now.

    ICS Bugs after your upgrade?

Waiting now. Not much else to do. A 7MB app update took 30 minutes to download. :P I'll let my 1000-ish photos sync on Gallery and then see how it is working. Other then download speed I'm happy so far. Though if the "card" view of running applications also showed the current foreground app it...

    ICS Bugs after your upgrade?

Just a place to hash out problems. Mine: WiFi and 3G data is SLOW. Really really slow. Right now I'm guessing it may be the Play Books and Gallery sync going on right now. ICS seems to have to resync everything. Anyone else having issues?

    [ICS][NS4G]Official Nexus S 4G ICS/Android 4.0.4 Update

Really bad for me as well. To the point that Play Store has a connection time out on wifi.
