Just a heads up guys: because pixels use OLED displays, blacks will save you more battery than whites on your display because the individual black pixels are not lit up. Keep this in mind when setting your wallpaper, etc :)

I've read on multiple sites that keeping the battery at 40-80 is optimal. Is this true? Since this is a new phone and I'm going to be using it longer than my other phones, I'm trying to keep the battery life as long as possible. Any tips on how to prolong the battery life?

These cases truly stand out to me. I imagine them as super comfy to hold and look at, and the google logo looks great on the back. It's slim yet more protective than those other really slim cases, and fits the pixel design imo. What do you guys think?
