I have a galaxy S7 edge. Same issue. No daydream mode. Followed instructions settings>display>screensaver>photos settings....no option for camera. Just "Only use Wifi for data", "Photos fill screen" and "Animated Zoom Effect". Also, this just started happening after the new firmware update...
