It's only $5 a month to activate it though. I figured it's worth checking out for that price. Already paid off. I had to rush out the door to a meeting (2.5 hours away) and left my phone sitting on the charger.....but, I had my Gear S2 on and was able to make and receive calls during my trip.

Adding mine to my Verizon account was also $5.....but I'm no longer on unlimited data.
