    Updating TWRP

Quick question: I need to update my TWRP recovery, and I'm using TWRP manager. For the "select device" portion there are multiple m8 options: m8, m8_whl, m8_wlv. I'm on at&t if that helps! Thanks for the help!

    HTC One M8 Battery Drain

I'm on ViperOne. It's not an app that's causing it, I've checked. Basically the battery has plenty of charge left but the phone is saying it doesn't. Even when the battery has 3700 mV, it displays 36% instead of around 90% like it should be showing.

    HTC One M8 Battery Drain

My m8 is draining wayy too easily. After light usage for 6 hours, the battery is at 36%. I calibrated my battery at 100% for 4000+ mV. Right now, at 3700 mV, the phone is displaying 36%. Any ideas on why the battery is draining like this? I've attached a gsam screenshot. Posted via the Android...

Viperone M8 2.0.0 Slow boot time/ sunshine not compatible

@oldgreg101, sorry for not replying sooner. How did the process go for you? Any issues? Also, if I'm not mistaken, unzipping the file will make it unflashable. If you were having trouble writing the SuperCID, this is the video I followed: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HJ4ZgMTqIc0

Ok to delete old ROM off phone?

Quick (and probably stupid) question here. I successfully updated to ViperOne 2.0.0. This was a full new ROM and not an OTA. Can I go ahead and delete my ViperOne 1.7.1 file? It's taking up 1.4 GB that I would love to use for some other stuff.

Viperone M8 2.0.0 Slow boot time/ sunshine not compatible

Not sure if insertcoin works. How to Unroot the HTC One M8 (Complete Guide) (Video) | TheUnlockr Follow steps 1-4 here and you'll be on a working stock recovery that's still rooted. Firewater will work from there. Restore from the nand you made and then you can flash new firmware, etc.

Blank screen after completing some steps in getting CM11 M9

Quick question... Do you have to be S-off to flash custom roms? I flashed a CM11 nightly and ViperOne 1.8.0 with S-on...

Viperone M8 2.0.0 Slow boot time/ sunshine not compatible

Make a nand, flash to stock, run firewater, change to SuperCID (might as well if you're using adb), restore from nand, flash new firmware, then you can dirty flash 2.0.

    How to get S-Off?

Finally got it fixed. Achieved S-off without insert coin, just had to play around with it a little bit. Was able to update the framework directly by copying to SD card, renaming it, and then updating from Hboot (FUU wasn't working for some reason, didn't feel like finding a fix). Dirty flashed...

    How to get S-Off?

Gotcha. The release keys I restored from does not have an insecure kernel apparently so I'm downloading insertcoin right now (although it's taking forever).

    How to get S-Off?

So any stock release keys should do it? Then restore from the nand, update firmware, and then flash 2.0?
