Maybe I'm just more confused than I think I am, but I noticed something that just doesn't make sense to me. Everyone in the thread is helping by talking about ZVC/ZVD and ZVH. The OP posted about MVH. Was that a typo or is there a difference between MVH and ZVH? I might just be totally off...

I'm not sure I can answer all of your questions, but I'll give it a shot. In order to get rid of any system apps (those already installed on the phone when you got it) you will need to be rooted. Of course once you root you also have the option of running a custom ROM in which most of them...

I know this may not be any real help to you because I had my phone for a whole 15 minutes before I rooted it and installed a custom ROM. That being said I have not had an issue like this with any of the ROMs I have run. If you are runing stock, have you tried conacting T-Mobile about it yet...

I'm positive I don't have a refurb. I used the updater tool when I first got the phone to go from V9 to VD. I'll keep trying throughout the day. Still have 5 more hours here at work. But since I no longer have Sprint I can't get it from OTA.

LG updater keeps saying I have latest version. Hmmm....

Is this update OTA only right now? I just tried the LG Updater Tool and it said I was up to date with ZVD. Hmm....Maybe because I am on CM7, lol. Going to flash a 2.2 rom and check again.

I'll be a tester for you. I have a new phone so this one I don't have to worry about root until we can get it working. I should be able to get a system dump without root though, right? At least I think I have before. We'll see.
