If I select Recovery mode.instead of redirecting me to the bot with the no command caption..it just redirects me back to GOOGLE .. why?

My Nexus 7 2nd gen isnt opening anymore it gets stuck on the GOOGLE welcome page. also if I do the (hold volume down and pwoer button ) and press Recovery mode like what the nexus trouble shoot said. nothing is happening also its still in the LOCK STATE...what can i do to unlock it:'(:'(...

This time I bought my unit from bestbuy in colorado. hehehe anyway . the cable was okay.. No dent or whatsoever because I was taking care of it. I jsut noticed that for the past few days.i would live the tablet charging . I left it at 30% , when i came back after 3 hours it just went up to 33%...

the usb cable eventually gave out...now im using my Nokia charger.. thank god for its unversal port

Basically I want to watch the movies I have from my nexus 7 to my tv what cable can I use ? My Tv has an hdmi port... but my nexus 7 doesnt have one. so do i need the slimport to have it connected to an hdmi cable so i can insert it in the Hdmi port in my tv? So instead of watching movies...
