Yeah it's the Microsoft Remote Desktop client on Android. Google seems to have hijacked the Windows key (winkey) to display their search input.

The keyboard windows key ( winkey ) no longer works in Remote Desktop client on Android Lollipop it brings up Google's search input instead.
