Heh, already upgraded to iPhone 7 - no more frickin LG for me. This phone had is motherboard replaced along with several other parts. But don't want to just throw it away as it also multiple batteries and SD cards. I think the antenna is in the top, but if no info or obvious parts probably not...

And did you install all the same apps? My worry would be that it is not hardware related but some sort of app\Android system issue. Otherwise, would be nice to have a new Essential....

Yes, just installed a couple of more apps with no problem. Up to about a third of what I had. Uninstalled the Facebook App Manager which snuck in there even tho I don't use Facebook anymore... I'll report back if I have a problem.

That's what I'm doing - I loaded just the most essential apps, and am adding only when needed. So far so good....

Yes, completely eliminated it, removed from my Play Store library, wiped the phone's cache. After reinstall of other apps, things seemed to work. But on Restore for personal data, etc., error reoccurred. Something else seems to be stuck in there. Trying again without using restore - will know...

Anyone else stuck with this at startup? Message appears at boot on V10, and boot takes 15 min to complete. I found that the app Zedge (which I have never used) and Trucaller (which I have used) are culprits, and possibly Facebook and Messenger. I would like to identify other apps if anyone knows...

I have problem on V10. I finally swapped for a refurbed V10, and then on reinstalling found that Trucaller is also a culprit. Not installing it kept phone from doing the optimization. But then I did a restore to get my data back, and the optimizing 1 of 1 problem came back! I have done yet...

I tried Airdroid, supposedly the best, and it wouldn't connect over wifi. I also tried with USB via the "non-rooted" process, no luck. But after uninstalling Bridge and Airdroid, Windows suddenly recognized the phone on USB and I can transfer files back and forth in File Explorer. Of course...
