sad update: my drain is back to 5-6% overnight (around 6-7 hours) left idle even with double tap to wake gesture and AOD fully disabled.. To me that's pretty fast drain compared to my Xiaomi Redmi 4X which drains 0-1% in the same amount of time.

I think I may have found the culprit for the very fast battery drain even during idle (and not randomly waking up inside your pocket, I also found a temporary solution for that) and it has nothing to do with AOD and double tap to wake gesture (I have AOD on single tap, and double tap wake...
