With Android 12 update (and UI 4.0), I am finding all the notifications I had set to silent now have permission to alert with sound. A major pain, because many of these apps break down notification permissions into subcategories so every one must be reset.

Using my Nexus 6p Android 7.0, I haven't attempted to use BBM to send images (.jpg). However, all attempts from other BBM users to send photos to me have failed. The error shows on my phone as something like "failed to write file". Hopefully BBM will address this soon.

I received an order confirmation email the same day I ordered. When I ordered a FI sim card I also received a conf email and another when the sim shipped. While logged in to gmail or your Google account, go to store.Google.com, click on hamburger icon upper left to check status of your order.

Re: Verizon Requested an invite to Google FI, received it in about 4 days. Signed up for Google FI with billng information, SIM is supposed to arrive about a week before the 6p so everything is on track.

Re: Verizon Maybe.... My VZW contract expires a week before the 6p is scheduled for delivery. I will keep my Droid Maxx active on VZW and activate the 6p on Google-Fi for a month or two to see how well it works in my area. Both T-Mobile and Sprint cover this area reasonably well. No doubt...

I have been having the same problem for several months. Clearing the cache seems to help, but not for long. The behavior is the same with either Dalvik or ART. Contacts will eventually work, but it may take 6 or 8 attempts before I can see my contacts.
