    Thank you for all the advise, I just thought it was weird that when plugged in to charge the screen shows it charging but will not show anything else. Guess the battery uses a different way of showing on the display screen separate from the mother board.

    Thank you, Just signed up. Is that common for a tablet just sitting unused? I will have to check prices for a new motherboard not sure it will be worth it thankfully nothing important on it.
