After a week I like it, but that has more to do with how much I hated the last update. The last Jellybean sucked 15% of battery an hour with Bluetooh, GPS, half of the syncs and Google Now turned off and with me barely using it. With KitKat the drain is around 6% an hour. More than I like but...

I'm glad to here that you got it working. I was planing to try the same thing, but I would be able to get to it until tonight.

I got the ICS update this morning and it has been a disaster. I installed just fine, but then started rebooting itself. Once my A500 boots to the lock screen, in about 20 seconds (whether I unlock it or not) the OS cycles back to the animated ANDROID boot animation. It just loops doing this...

I've used a universal charger that I got at Radio Shack since the beginning of May without any problems.

I went to Best Buy during lunch and they had put the Iconia out side-by-side with the Xoom. I agree, I like the feel of the Iconia over the Xoom. And I don't have any reservations with the screen ether. It was a little hard to compare the screens since the Iconia had a bright outdoorsy theme...

That or they go find something else to buy. I was already trying to deside between the Transformer and the Iconia. I liked the transformer for the screen and gorilla glass, but Iconia has the aluminum chassis and built in full usb port. Asus may have made the choice for me.
