I just received my update and was really happy about the performance. Battery use was back to 4.1 standarts. Two days later it changes and now my phone eats up battery like a 13 yo junk food addict eats burgers. Is a complete factory reset the answer? I have about 4% ph battery usage in standby...

Cell reception is excellent. I decided to give the factory reset a try and take it from there.

Re: Battery life horrible after update. Ignore the alarm clock thing. That was totally unrelated to the update. Still, the battery drain is atrocious. I read that I should wait a few days and it would get back to normal but so far it seems to be getting worse.

Same here. Bought a brand new transformer yesterday after my Acer A500 got fried. I like the transformer but the reboot issue is a pain. Installed wake lock until they resolve the issue. Love Android stuff - its always an adventure. :)

I finally got my update and it looks good. WiFi is working just fine.

I got my A500 almost two weeks ago and still no update in sight. There were rumors floating around Acer suspended the updates but I have no idea. Did anybody get any updates lately and did they fix the bugs?
