Ok, no offence to the person who said it is not available on your front facing camera is wrong. Why would it work for selfie mode and NOT forward right? I mean who designed it. How are you to take a picture of your kids at night? I had the SAME issue. If I was in Auto or SIMPLE it didn't work...
