I hear you, I have exact same issue, I have Galaxy watch and note9 and I like to leave phone in bedroom (small single story house) and I as soon as I step into my kitchen I lose bt connection. This drove me crazy because my huawei watch (Wear os) and 4 sets of bt headphones and 2 bt speakers...

Starting to think they are yanking our chain...i have huawei watch and nothing yet.
