it looks like it just tried to download and install play services on its own, but it's telling me I don't have enough space... with 250+mb available on the SD card and 84 mb free on the phone itself... the file appears to be about 7 mb.

Re-flashed my Optimus V today, with the latest (I assume) issue of gapps for CM7. Well, now I have Market on my phone instead of Play Store. Applications start freaking out left nd right because Play Services is gone. I followed a link to it from one of my apps, but Market FC's at some point...

Huh, I knew there was a lifecycle on lash memory, but I didn't think I'd ever end up reaching it.. I use my SD card a TON because the phone has next to no internal memory for some reason. I also can't overclock as high as I used to be able to, I used to be able to run all the way up to 864MHz...

Can someone please explain how to make an apk out of the zip files in those download links, or at least link me to a gingerbreak download that doesn't have a trojan in it?

sd is factory, freshly formatted. The gingerbreak .apk is installed on the phone and I have USB debuggig enabled.

The phone will not root. Superoneclick crashes on step 7 (when it should be rebooting the phone). Gingerbreak fails because "something unexpected happened ". I'm starting to get kind of aggravated with this. ZV5 baseband. 2.22 OS, 2.6.32. 9 kernel
